The Management of Blakeney Under Fives

Sessions are managed and run by 2 qualified experienced play leaders, together with a qualified team of preschool staff.

Blakeney Under Fives is managed by a committee made up of elected volunteer parents. These members are elected at the Annual General Meeting which is held in the Autumn term of each year.

The Committee is responsible for;

  • Managing the playgroup's finances
  • Employing and managing staff
  • Ensuring the playgroup has and works to policies which help it to provide a high quality of service
  • Ensuring the playgroup works in partnership with the children's parents
The Annual General Meeting is open to parents of all the children who attend the playgroup and members of the community. The meeting is used for looking back over the previous year and shaping the coming year's activities.
